Library volunteers honored

Leon Youngblood | The Seward Phoenix LOG
The year of 2011 has been a great year for the Seward Community Library when it comes to volunteers! In total we counted 14 people who lent a hand when needed throughout the year. Some have religiously appeared every week to shelve books and movies. Others have offered to read our book shelves, decorate the library, assist with Story Hour, write book reviews, plant a garden, and even repair books! One of proudest displays of volunteerism is one individual who transformed our book sale from a wreck to a work of art. Without all these huge contributions, our library staff would not have as much time to offer so many extra services, such as passport acceptance, document notarization, and community programs.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank all of you (you know who you are) for the spare time you have lent to this library. You are truly appreciated!
