Conservation fund-raiser features Alaska's delicious side

A Seward-area conservation group is using a taste of Alaska to raise awareness for its cause at an upcoming fund-raiser."Alaska Grown, Close to Home Wine and Beer Tasting" is the theme for a Resurrection Bay Conservation Alliance fund-raiser to be held from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, at the Alaska SeaLife Center.
Bear Creek Winery from Homer, Alaskan Brewing Co. and home brewers will be featured at the event.
There also will be bread, cheese and confections from area producers.
Local artists have donated their wares and will be available in the silent auction event.
The cost of the event is $25 per person and $20 for alliance members. Admission to the event plus an RBCA membership is $40. Tickets will be available at the door.
