Seward Parks and Recreation Department's BBQ Volleyball League ended its fall season with a single elimination tournament on Dec. 7. Five teams signed up; three of those consisted of AVTEC players. Three matches were played in the championship duel between Team Olds, which won every game of the season, and AVTEC 2. The tiebreaker volleyed back and forth, with Team Olds eventually pulling through by two points. Winter league starts Jan. 18. To sign up, call 224-4054 or e-mail, mhauze@cityofseward.net.
